Dubai real estate: $342m of property deals on Tuesday

Dubai real estate market saw another day with more than a billion dirhams of transactions on Tuesday, according to Dubai Land Department figures.

The land department recorded 385 sales transactions worth $255m (AED936.65m), in addition to 98 mortgage deals of $51m (AED186.25m), and 41 gift deals amounting to $36m (AED131.82m) on Tuesday.

The sales included 358 villas and apartments worth $188m (AED691.86m), and 27 land plots worth $67m (AED244.79m), while mortgages included 88 villas and apartments worth $39m (AED145.06m) and 10 land plots valued at $11m (AED41.19m), bringing the total realty transactions for the day to more than $340m (AED1.2b).
