Dubai real estate: $2.6bn of property sales this week

2,882 real estate deals in Dubai this week, Palm Deira highest value transaction

total of 2,882 real estate transactions worth more than $2.6bn (AED9.2bn) were recorded this week, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department.

The Dubai Land Department report revealed that 199 plots were sold for $362m (AED1.33bn), while 2,011 apartments and villas were purchased for $1.3bn (AED4.61bn).

The top three transactions were a land in Palm Deira sold for $13m (AED47.38m), followed by a land that was sold for $11m (AED40m) in Me’Aisem First, and a land sold for $12.8m (AED47.38m) in Palm Deira.
