The initiative also heralds the start of a new economic corridor in the Jebel Ali region, highlighting the emirate’s expansion.

The 13.4 square kilometres Palm Jebel Ali, which will be double the size of Palm Jumeirah, will have a lot of green space and special waterfront experiences. The project will extend Dubai’s coastline by over 110 km, allowing for the unsurpassed luxury seaside living of about 35,000 households.

More than 80 hotels and resorts, as well as a variety of entertainment and recreational options, will be located on Palm Jebel Ali, establishing the archipelago as a desirable residential area in the city and boosting Dubai’s tourism industry.

With mixed-use walkable neighbourhoods, smart city technology, sustainability practises, and a wide range of mobility alternatives for locals, visitors, and communities, Palm Jebel Ali will serve as a paradigm for modern urban planning techniques. Both the alteration of Dubai’s scenery and the positioning of Palm Jebel Ali as a global model for waterfront life will result from this.

With plans to include renewable energy resources in its infrastructure design and a focus on sustainability, Palm Jebel Ali will be virtually entirely self-sufficient in terms of electricity generation once it is finished. Palm Jebel Ali will get up to 30% of its energy needs from renewable sources.
